Tracking constant USB on and off
I downloaded USB Monitor originally to attempt to track down a frequent connect/disconnect USB sound that is somehow related to a mass storage ddevice in my system. After beginning to use USB Monitor, I believethe problem is in the Mistumi 7in1 Floppy/Card reader. My computer vendor believed that the card reader might be going bad. But after surveying the internet, I find that a number of other users have had similar problems following a Microsoft update of the Genesys driver.
Even though I do not know well how to fully use the software, it has been the most helpful of all the ones I have tried.
As to the price, I believe that - except for commercial techs - it is priced WAY outside the User market. Since there are MANY more users than Techs, that may be a big mistake.
And, Thank you for your consideration.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but still a nice program.

Useful application, but still some bugs.
I have many pieces of hardware connected via USB interface, either full- or part-time. Occasionally, one of my full-time, critical applications loses contact with the assigned 'com' port. I have been unable to find which other piece of hardware is 'stealing' the port. A re-boot is required to open the port again.
I was hoping that this application might help me to trace what was happening so I could re-arrange the connections to stop this 'port stealing.' However, immediately after installing, before even running the application, my third-party UPS monitoring application became 'inactive' and I was unable to reactivate it. Even restoring the system to a point just prior to the install of USB Monitor Beta did not solve the issue. I re-installed the drivers and UPS software and that did not work. I had to uninstall USB Monitor Beta and then reinstall the UPS drivers and UPS monitoring application to resolve the issue.
Testing further. From this point, I re-installed USB Monitor Beta. Immediately at the end of the installation, the UPS engine shut down and the monitoring application became inactive. I could restart the engine, but the monitoring app could not be activated. Without the monitoring app, I can not control the UPS or program its procedures for power/UPS events. Again, I had to restore the system (that is a good feature of USB Monitor Beta to set a restore point immediately prior to install), uninstall USB Monitor Beta, and re-install the UPS drivers and monitoring application.
I am very leary of software that alters a system and does not completely restore it to its pre-install state upon uninstallation. The software appears to have many fine features and may have been helpful to me but I didn't have the time to test it more fully given the situation with the UPS control becoming disabled. I am also on very limited budget and could not afford the price of even the Lite version, certainly not either of the more feature-rich versions. I could see where this application, with the bugs worked out, would be very useful in an enterprise situation that had the funding available to pay for the top-of-the-line version. It doesn't appear, though, to be practical for a private individual such as myself.
I think you have a potentially very fine product in USB Monitor and should do very well with it. I would recommend finding someone with a good grasp of English (for your English language release) to help with the documentation translation.
Very best of luck to you.
Kind regards,
Mike Albrecht
